Convertible Clowns VI: Toothless Tito

CONVERTIBLE CLOWNS VI:  TOOTHLESS TITO

Toothless Tito sat there driving the clowns through the desert enjoying the desert surroundings and just wishing he had a bottle of Tanqueray to add to his enjoyment.  He and Paula were pretty much the ringleaders of the Convertible Clowns but Paula was just not herself anymore.  From the moment the Dark Lord raised his paw and changed Paula’s appearance to the horrible looking clown of a human being she now was, she just wasn’t the same.  Even Tito was scared to say the wrong thing around her or look at her in the wrong way.  Tito got lost in his thoughts driving through the desert and wondering how he got caught up with these gaggle of fools.  He himself had served the Dark Lord so diligently over many lifetimes and had proved over and over again that he was a loyal servant so why was he paired with these fools.  He could have caught Anthonystjoseph on his own and never even had to get involved with these idiots.

Tito was thinking how he had not even known Theoda the Thug or Paula the Prison Bird and would never have even been associated with such people in his life.  Theoda was an envious piece of hateful mess and Paula the Prison Bird was a disgusting clown with tendencies towards abducting small children to run her Hansel and Gretel operation.  He knew Ridiculous Rodney from the old days but his ridiculousness had just gotten out of control.  When this mission was over he was going to suggest to the Dark Lord that he never be partnered with these idiots again.  He was actually a Lieutenant in the Dark Lord’s Army so why should he have to hang around with these useless clowns.

He thought about the first time he met Anthonystjoseph who as the other clowns have said, originally called himself Tony.  He hadn’t yet come into using his real name and didn’t even understand the ramifications of his life.  Tito was renting a large room out on the second floor of his home and the Dark Lord said it was the perfect lure.  Anthonystjoseph’s old residence had just been sold to a new landlord so at the age of twenty two he needed a new place to move to.  Just as the Dark Lord had said, Anthonystjoseph showed up wanting to see the large room in the four bedroom home for rent that Tito occupied alone.  They hit it off right away with both of them enjoying humor and a life peppered with entertaining nightlife.

Tito actually liked the young Anthonystjoseph but he never wavered from the duties the Dark Lord prescribed to him when it came to his task to direct, the then called Tony, down the path the Dark Lord wanted.  The question that always bothered Tito was why was the Dark Lord so interested in Anthonystjoseph’s existence?  Tito had often wondered if Anthonystjoseph had some higher calling from the Dark Lords number one enemy, the man upstairs.  Tito suspected so.

Regardless of whatever destiny whoever Tony was had, he would kill Anthonystjoseph on sight because it was the bidding of his master the Dark Lord.  He had not become a Lieutenant in the Dark Lord’s Army for nothing.  He couldn’t even count how many lifetimes he had dedicated to the Dark Lord’s bidding…

As he drove down the desert road thinking about all of the diabolical tasks he had committed, Paula suddenly jolted him back into reality when she said, “Okay, the last time we saw that Anthonystjoseph thing he was in this area coming up.”  Tito slowed the car down as Theoda the Thug started yelling at Ridiculous Rodney for drooling yellow giggle juice on her in the back seat while he was sleeping.  They all started scanning the desert for any signs of Anthonystjoseph.
