The Mom Pool

THE MOM POOL

by

Anthonystjoseph

The mom pool is wide and deep

I pray you get one that won’t make you weep

The vessel of entry is the pool of life

The pool of love or the pool of strife

Hopefully you

Get one that’s right

Contradictory

CONTRADICTORY

by

Anthonystjoseph

Some say that I’m a contradiction

They say what I say is probably fiction

Others have been

Accused of the same

I hope I don’t need

To mention their name

There’s Him and The Book

And also the Crook

I’ll explain me

It’s very easy

I speak as I learn

I learn as I speak

I hope you didn’t

Catch me weak

My words are strong

And sometimes they’re long

Its stories I tell

And my stories are deep

And every little story

Ain’t for every little sheep

And that my dear

Is history

I hope I’m not being

Sent By God

SENT BY GOD

by

Anthonystjoseph

Life is different for all of us in this world, but for some, it is very different.  Some people on this planet have actually been sent by God to complete important missions to put special plans in place and complete the destiny that God has set forth for the world and you.  Often, life with a mission and a destiny is a lonely life that can sometimes be a bit depressing.

Life with a mission or sometimes many missions can be lonely for some because God and your path don’t let too many others upset said missions because sometimes others can get in the way of these missions; so consequently, at times, many ‘others’ are not allowed.  It can also be lonely because when the missions are many, the paths traveled are also many.  Sometimes one cannot carry many friends or acquaintances on paths that continuously travel all over the world to the next mission.

Life with a special mission can also be depressing because as a missioner you do not have a life of your own.  You spend your entire life looking around and seeing others who are allowed to do whatever they want while you are guided and forced by forces unseen to various paths and tasks that are not of your own choosing.  You constantly find yourself saying to God, “Why me?”  “Why can’t I choose my own existence?”  “Why can’t I do what they do?”  It can be depressing watching others live a life of freedom while you live a life of being commanded.

At the same time you find yourself getting depressed, you have to remind yourself that for some reason you were chosen by God.  God himself felt that you were worthy of his tasks.  God himself sent angels to help you along the way when you need their help.  God himself chose YOU!

I can only imagine the rewards are plenty for those that are chosen.  I can only imagine the gifts to come.  But what I can tell you; the rewards of completing a task and seeing God’s work are more wonderful than anything the ‘free’ achieve.  The rewards of seeing God work through your words and deeds are beyond comprehension too many.  Very few can even believe the stories when and if you try to convey a blessing you received or conveyed to another.  Very few are chosen.

So to those that are chosen I say…  Do not get depressed when watching the free.  Do not feel sad when feeling alone.  For you are never alone and never on your own.  Even though there are few, we are many.
