WOULD YOU DARE?

Do you truly know what you’re asking
for? Do you truly know what you’re
saying? Do you truly know what it is
that you’re talking about? You see, the
question I’m posing to you is… Do you
really want God in your life?
When you say out loud to the Universe,
“God, I want to know you. Prove to me
you exist.” If you’re worthy or if you
pass whatever test he has set forth in whatever his rules are; I don’t know all
of them. If he deigns to answer you. You just make sure you’re ready. I am sometimes not sure I was ready.
Sometimes I have felt overwhelmed and
sometimes I have felt I was not ready; but most of all, I have felt
blessed. I have felt blessed to know the
truth. I have felt blessed to know the
difference; and I have felt blessed to know the reality of our world. Because the truth is, we are being watched
over and guided by something omnipotent compared to our abilities. We are being cared for and guided by
something larger and more knowledgeable than we. We are being looked after.
The reality of my existence is that I was
always told about God as a young child and I laughed. The idea seemed humorous to me and the
thought of an omnipresent being seemed more than laughable and preposterous to
my young mind. In my life and my existence
I have challenged this presence and in my challenge I have been met with truth. In my laughter and in my personal assaults on
this supposed omnipresent and omnipotent being I have come to realize and see
the reality that it is all true and the stories I was told of a God and our God
are real. I will not presume to tell you
what it is or who it is that watches over us but I will tell you this, I have
felt blessed, I have felt chosen, I have felt loved.
