Convertible Clowns XX: Dante

CONVERTIBLE CLOWNS XX: DANTE

Dante was the most successful assassin in the Dark Lords service.  He had served the Dark Lord for almost two thousand years and loved every minute.  In fact, he had served the Dark Lords purpose far before his death in 41 AD.  Dante as a human was believed to be insane by most who lived during his time and all who lived after.  He had created a reign of terror and debauchery that Rome had never seen before and hasn’t been seen since.  As a human Emperor, Dante was into cruelty, sadism, and sexual perversity.  He ruled like a tyrant and his extremely high level of debauchery caught the Dark Lords eye at an early age.  He was the infamous and well known ruler of Rome called Caligula.

After years of his reign, well placed citizens of Rome decided it was time for Caligula to be gone.  He had murdered and tortured people for fun, even his own family members.  He was assassinated by the Praetorian Guard and even Senators of Rome were said to be involved.  Gaius Julius Caesar Augustus Germanicus who came to be known throughout history and to his subjects as Caligula was a hated man, and now his name in the underworld was Dante.

Dante relished in the death he received as a human because it helped him to feel.  In all of his reign and all of his debauchery the only thing he ever sought was to feel.  His childhood and life of overindulgence left his senses dull to most events in life so it was necessary for him to indulge his senses to the extreme in order to feel anything.  Upon his arrival in the underworld after being assassinated he finally felt like he had come home.

The fiery caverns and demonic members of the underworld gave him a sense of belonging.  Even the hideous looking clowns brought a smile to Dante’s face.  He thought the clowns exaggerated features and drooling orifices were pleasurable sights to his mind that was dulled to most visual senses.  Dante was completely in love with the demonic underworld look the Dark Lord had given him.

The Dark Lord had followed Caligula’s career on Earth for many years and almost looked at Caligula as his own son.  The acts of murder and parties of sexual perversity that Caligula had created and indulged in on Earth made the Dark Lord proud.  When it came to Caligula’s demonic name it was then decided by the Dark Lord that he would be called Dante.  He also decided to make Caligula a slightly visual version of himself.  Dante’s eyes revealed and reflected the fires of the underworld and the demonic soul inside him visibly burned with a fire.  His eternal demonic soul burned with such a fire that his veins seemed to be filled with lava that sometimes erupted through the surface of his skin.  The look gave the Dark Lord pride and Dante even more pride.  Many of the female demons found Dante attractive and sought him out but it was only Rojalinda that caught his eye.  Dante and Rojalinda’s love of murder drew them close from the very moment of their first meeting when they committed their first murder together for the Dark Lord.

The fact that Anthonystjoseph had vanquished Rojalinda in the earthly realm and thereby making it impossible for her to ever return to earth made Dante furious.  They could never go on their murder sprees in the earthly realm together due to Anthonystjoseph and his angelic sword.  The fact that the Dark Lord had dispatched Dante on this new mission made him simmer with rage and impatience.  Dante knew that the mission to distract, disparage, and destroy this new kid would draw Anthonystjoseph out from the ethereal realm and that’s when Dante would get his revenge for Rojalinda.  Vengeance would be achieved at the hand of Dante himself.
