I love them, I hate them

I hate them, I love them

Just when you think your path is learned

You find you are one who can still be burned

You say to yourself

I knew that lesson

I knew that rule

I thought I already

Went to that school

Pick up and move on

No choice in the matter

Remove stupid thoughts

From your brains idle chatter

Life is a school

A road that never ends

We continue to learn

Even when sleep begins

The sleep that I mention

Is the last and final

The you that I mention

Is the one in denial

The lessons I mention

Are your one true role

Yes it’s true

I’m talking about your soul
